Woking Writers Circle aims to encourage and support local writers of all ages and all kinds.

Poetry, fiction and non-fiction are all welcome.

At our meetings (every third Thursday of the month) we read our current work and receive informal, constructive criticism from the other members. We also share ideas (e-publishing and self-publishing are current 'hot topics') and news of things such as markets, competitions and our members' occasional successes in getting their work published.

Next Writing Meeting: Thursday, 16th February 2012

The 'homework' theme for the meeting is Bedtime Stories suitable for broadcast on hospital radio (Radio Wey).
